needle is off to the left in hole in foot, can i center the needle.

You can only centre the needle if the machine is designed for the needle to be in the centre or if you have a needle position dial or lever, put the straight stitch foot on and select straight stitch and if the needle is on the left and goes into the hole in the foot then the machine is designed that way, if not then it will be a shop adjustment
