I am having difficulty removing the heating element from the back of the tumble dryer as the apperture seems too small. the dryer is a whirlpool AWZ541
I have a whirlpool AWZ541. It switches on with the on/off light lit up but upon selection of any programme it does not work. The water container light is off and the container is empty

I have now fixed this, it needed some 'gentle force' to extract the heater element.
