hi,I have just inherited a maico 490 alpha 1 two stroke mx bike , and was wondering if anyone on the forum knew how much oil and what kind of oil to use to mix with the petrol,.many thanks.

hi mix at 33.1, use a fully synthetic racing oil such as putolean or silkolean.have you ridden this bike yet ?,if you haven't then you're in for the shock of your life .if you want to sell it providing you don't kill yourself first,please call me on 01484 659128,iam in west yorkshire and don't mind traveling to view... cheers m8.

hi ,you need to mix oil and petrol together then add to fuel tank,.half oil half unleaded petrol.

are you sure its a two stroke??? its a four stroke ,petrol only in tank no oil needed.
