The interior dashboard display has stopped working and totally gone out. Left overnight and tried to start the engine and that wont work now either. HELP.

Hi I had the same problem on my 2005 scenic, its a common problem on this model 03 04 05 where the years that was affected, if you write to renault and tell them that it has been on th BBC watchdog programe they may change it for you for a fixed price of around £100 pounds as they did for me and many others, the part is around £600 to buy from new, the only down side is your milage will be at zero if you have this work done, and then sell it quickly, (NOT JOKING)

It's a Renault, and as you know, when they build them, they put in the Renault electronics gremlin, which hides away and one day emerges to cause havoc with your electronics. When you solve one problem, another one appears. The only way to solve this problem is, don't buy a Renault, simples!
