brake wear warning on all the time?

2001 daf lf 45 brake wear warning on dash permantly on brake pads all 75% good what could be the problem

wiring at front wheels,give it a good pull and it will snap..,wires are thin and chaff on the conduit ,and with the flexing it goes through with the the wheels turning left and right ,it's the weak point
