Has a heating element broken on my AEG Favorit dishwasher F86070VI ?

In built d/w still working fine apart from everything is still wet at the end of the cycle and there doesn't appear to be any heat in the unit when you open it up. Has a heating element broken? And can it be replaced economically?

Many thanks for your suggestion. I investigated the heater, wich was OK with 26 Ohm and then the main board. Copper sheet of the relay printed board connection was burnt-out.
I made the surroundings of the relay pin and the relay pin itself clean. After that I made two new wired conductor (0,5mm) which I wired around the pin and carefully soldered to the rest of cooper sheet.
The malfunction was confusing. There was no heating at Eko program, where Intensive care was warm. But after several months the heater didn't work at all.
Thanks a lot. Maybe my experience can anybody use.

sorry vic I had assumed that you had got the error code from it already ,.I was about to give you the button sequence to bring up the error code, most likely you would of got something like this f// which reletes to either element or heater relay .

That sounds like a good plan. Many thanks for your suggestion. VK

element might of blown.need to put a multimeter across the terminals and get around 29ohms to be good.Common fault is bad solder joints on the pcb around the heater relay.remove the pcb from the control panel making a note where the wires go and then open the plastic casing to inspect the pcb.even if it looks OK around the relay connections it is best to resolder all the joints around that area
