loud grinding sound from my gainsborough diplomat power shower?

hi i have a gainsborough diplomat power shower and it has started to make loud grinding sound. the pressure is still ok and the water still comes out warm. the only thing is that it makes a really loud sound. Any ideas what this might be

its the brushes on the motor that are worn, take it its quite old Dont think you can replace just the brushes tho
