Honda Foresight indicators ?

My indicators are switching on without my prompt and then flashing erratically (very fast) then normal. It does this in transit so it is quite unnerving. Just happened one day and hasn't resolved.

Any ideas please, it's my work bike.

could be the indicator switch shorting out.unscrew from handlebars and spray all parts of the switch inside with wd 40.
