Heating element?

I washed my dishes last night at 8 and got up this morning at 7 and its like they just got done drying,They were burning hot..Is it the Heating Element going out?

If they were hot then the element must be working. Most likely a faulty temperature sensor or thermostat depending on what make & model you have. Could also be a timer or control board problem, again depends on make & model.

Not an element issue if they are red hot still.more likely to be a blockage or timer issue depending on model
