peugeot 107 cylinder 1 misfire?

Hi all - I have a misfire on cylinder 1 - any ideas what is causing it and how much will cost to fix at a garage. I'm afraid I am female and clueless whrn it comes to car mechanics!

Thanks in advance

If other answer did not sort it, Could be the plug lead, get them cheap anywhere even from ebay. As other, swap plugs around, if misfire changes to different cylinder, plug fault, could just need cleaning and gap set. If it stays at same cylinder, I would go for lead first, coils are expensive. DO NOT swap leads around. severly damage your engine. If it managed to start at all.
Come off the sexist bit, Some very good female mechanics around

Could be as simple as a faulty spark plug.

What happens when you swap the plugs round? Does the misfire move to a different cylinder? If so replace the offending spark plug.

If not that then could be the ignition coil.
