NEFF D86 hood light not working?

The lights over the hob in the extractor fan unit stopped working. We replaced both bulbs and it still isn't working. Looking for ideas as to what to do next.

The fan is still working, it is just the light, which makes me think it can't be the fuse.

does the fan still work?
probably had the wrong fuse in and it has now blow something inside the hood
