electric oven grille does not work?

i have a moffat single electric oven with grill, the oven works fine but the grill has stopped working. could it be the element?

Yes, If you have a test meter, unplug it and test, open cct. replace it, you get a low resistance, variable depends on make etc. look elsewhere, switch.
