my creda 37761 drum has stopped turning?

the drum of my creda 37761 tumble dryer has stopped turning although it sounds ok when switched on and heats up and timer works. The drum rotates freely when turned by hand.

With the Tumble Dryer face down remove the screws in the back (approx 13 of them all round the back) then a further 3 screws attaching the motor(with heads like bolts). The top will pull off and the back pull away from the front(the whole dryer will be very insecure now move it as little possible) sufficient enough to slide the new drive belt over the drum from the front. All that remains is to manipulate the other side of the drive belt over the motor, this is tricky and awkward. There should be no reason to adjust the tension. With the Tumble Dryer face down replace all the screws

Remove lid and see if belt is round outside of drum. Likely that it has broken. New belt can be fitted though longsome process.
Method in recent archives.
