I have just replaced the battery in my Truma caravan heater - as soon as I put the battery in the ignitor will not stop clicking, the heater pilot light will come on as will the heater however when switched off it just goes on clicking till the battery runs out.... Help!

Can eny one help i have a trumatic heater in my 2006 Tabbert an the pilot lights but then it goes out it wont stay lighte no mater how long u hold it down for as soon as you let the nob go it goes out its the kind with a battery egnighter think its a aa battery

check that the ignitor knob is not sticking down. It does not need much freeplay to operate and will continue to click if only slightly depressed.
