How do i mend my electric windows?

(seat ibiza 20vt 2000 X reg)
When I try to operate my windows there is a clicking noise coming from both doors but the windows do not operate.

This is a common problem with Ibizas (and Polos). I'm afraid it's an expensive fix

i have a rover 414 sli and my windows dont operate at all the driver side comes down but it you cant put the window back up because it bends outwards. The other side does not go up or down when you puch the button.
