Thanks very much for your answer, next time I have a friend over I will ask them to check the plug and light situation (I didn't call myself dumb dumb for nothing on this!) I know there isn't a plug for the cooker - just a switch on the wall for it, and as for lights, do you mean a light in the oven? Finally, when you say inside the base storage area, do you mean the area under the actual oven? Sorry and thank you.
