After reading all the comments on this forum we too have the same issues with our 5 year old cooker. The main oven cuts out, lights go off and after a while it starts up again. The oven is also overheating the food regardless of temperature.

Does anyone know how to permanently fix the oven ?

you'll need an engineer to temp test the oven as it could be an issue with the toc or stat overheating.
