Ive got a vauxhall corsa 1.7 dti on an 03 plate. Turned engine off now it wont start still got all lights on dashboard but nothing

If the car is 8 years old and still on the original battery, then I guess you'll need a new battery.

But I'd check all the connections to the battery, alternator and starter motor first, including the earth straps.

If the battery is ok, and all the connections are ok too, then I'd suspect that the starter motor is worn out.

nothing at all. had been out in car done 160mile round trip then when it was turned off wouldnt start again

What do you mean by 'nothing'
Does it turn over? and fail to start. or does it just click, or not even that.
