Hello
I want to fit extra PIR's (2) to my installed Optima. However, I'm unsure about gaining access to the panel without setting off some tamperproof mechanism. Sorry if this questions seems so simple to those of you who are well informed, but would appreciate any advice offered.

Thank's for the advice. Unfortunately repeated attempts to get the engineer who fitteed my alarm to install additional PIR's has met with all sorts of promises but no action. I suppose it would be very unlikely that he would volunteer the access codes to me.

You need the "engineer" code.
You might get away with opening and fitting to the spare zones if they are linked out but if programmed out you have no chance.

And it might be on engineer reset for tamper!
