Kenwood KDW8ST2A Dishwasher E4 error, now control panel will not work?

Hi I have a Kenwood KDW8ST2A dishwasher which came up with an error code E4, looked on internet and it said that it was a leak code and to reset tip the dishwasher back and the water will drain, I did this and all worked fine but the code occured again tipped dishwasher back again but this time the control panel has stopped working.

If I switch the dishwasher on the control panel lights up but if I press any of the 3 buttons there is no beep and nothing happens, If I switch off the dishwasher and hold all three buttons and switch on the dishwasher will run a cycle from 18 to 10 and then stop.

I got someone to test that the electricity was getting to the control panel and he could not find a problem.
Please help

the clue here is the error code ,you must first find the leak ,and once its rectified the code will clear,by simply pushing buttons won't fix the leak and you are just confusing the machine by trying to override programs.unplug the appliance and remove panels and inspect areas such as main circulation pump and all corresponding hoses ,also check around the filter for leaks.
