How can I fix my baumatic bdi460ss dishwasher ?

The lock has activated without creating a seal now it won't deactivating how can I fix it without having to hold it shut for a 4 hour wash?

switch off at mains
hook something in to the latch.bit inside the hole in the top of the stainless inner door and pull it back in to the open position.i suspect its in the closed position even though the door is open.now it will work when shut
