how can i fix my clio lights?

Renault clio 1997 won't flash high beam when lights are on main beam. Flash normally when lights not on. Am I being a div or is there a problem?

Flashing your lights when on main beam is pointless. The main beam bulbs are already alight, they won't become doubly alight.

If a light is already switched on, you can't switch it on again.

There is no problem.
