changing engine head?

i need to know if i can fit the head off a 2002 petrol transit 2.3 into a 2006 model with the same engine?

both engines are identical in engine numbers being E5FA and E5FC so should be the same change all anciliarys off old head to new head prior to fitting because new connections likely to be different best of luck
