I pick up the phone and as soon as I press to link with the number just dialled I get a racket and can hear nothing -no ringinging of the number -nothing just this noise. When incoming calls I pick up and again only this racket-Noise
What can I do to fix it. I have Sky coming in on this line and this is fine. Upstairs extension--cord phone is fine also. BT Studio 3500
try swapping phones over ,to rule out a fault with the phone.

adsl filter --I do not think so I have added nothing and should I have one of these and where would I get one and would I be able to fit it myself. This phone is not used for a computer --only Sky tv
