I replaced the ignition barrel in Gilera Runner it turns but wont start?

The key got broke in Gilera Runner 2010 I replaced the ignition barrel it turns over but there does not seem to be any fuel coming through and it will not start

is plug sparking. if yes then pour a tea spoon of petrol down plughole fit plug and try starting engine.
