Bosch wtl6003 motor fails to start after replacing broken belt?

I have a Bosch wtl 6003 Tumble dryer. FD 8308 000781. The belt broke which I replaced (from the rear of the machine) but the motor will now not start. There is power to the tumbler as it switches on and the heater warms up so I have discounted a faulty door switch. I took the belt off to reduce the load on the motor) and still no joy so I replaced the capacitor - still no joy. The rotor turns freely by hand. I have tested the continuity on the motor input terminals (having removed the yellow and salmon colured leads) and there is continuity. I have checked across the two sensors on the rear of the drum and they show continuity so OK?. Have I missed an obvious problem or cut out please. Whilst changing the belt the only problem I had really was that the drum fell rearwards a little and I hand to reseat it on the forward part of the tumbler.

I would be very grateful for some help if possible
