Hello mate I have a 1997 p reg 2.8 ghia x auto ford galaxy and sometimes the gearbox struggles to change up, useually this only happens when the engine has been running for about 30 minutes ,so before i drive aanywhere i have to run through all the gears 3 times and this seems to work ,I cant check the oil because it is a sealed unit, can you help ?

Hello i rebuild auto gearbox,s for a living and do lots of this type of gearbox which is a vw01p.
When you say it,s struggle,s to change do you mean it,s late shifting?
rev,s high when pulling away?
revs go up when it,s changing gear?
Let me know more detail and anything else you think it,s doing wrong and i,ll do my best to help.
