boiler cuts out after about 3 quaters of an hour?

after putting on heating it runs for about 3 quaters of an hour then boiler shuts down fan still runs but doesn't fire up. mid postion valve working ok room stat ok tank stat seem to be ok boiler has had new 404456 thermostat still hasn't cured problem can anyone help?
