alloy wheels?

i have a jeep cherokee 2002,my problem is the laquer has lifted in a few places on the wheels and water has got under and made matters worse,yes i have been quoted by the wheel experts,but i have not got the money they want at this time,is there any way to do this job myself?thanks guys.

Wire brush, steel wool, course and fine grades, plenty of elbow grease and about four coats of laquer, oh, and plenty of time, simples!

have the alloys bead blasted and polish them up yourself .they will look bad boys.
