My Samsung WA13R3 fully automatic top loader washing machine comes up with a dE error. I know it means 'door error', but the door is working perfectly. I can't wash, rinse or spin. How can I fix this myself?? Clueless.
When I get a de error my load is unbalanced and I have to re-arrange it and move the tub a bit before it will continue with the cycle.

Door error means that it thinks the lid is open even though it is closed. The lid switch is faulty or the magnet has fallen off the right hand side of the lid. The magnet is needed to activate the lid switch.
