I have the same problem. I need the part set (night set) to arm silently to avoid waking the kids. As it is, it beeps for a few seconds while arming (not a continuous beep) and it's very loud on the external speaker

I would think that continous bleeping means that you have a fault, Check your user manaul. If you do not have one, do a web search, they are available
