Can't turn off strobe on Optima G3 alarm?

I have an Optima G3 (nine years old). At some point, I am not sure when, the blue strobe light started flashing and I cannot stop it. I have read the manual and the engineer's instructions and there are no clues. Apart from this the alarm appears to work correctly. It can be set and unset, but the blue strobe never stops flashing. All the other indicator lamps are as they should be.

alarm guy,its sd who is giving advice, and you know from past postings, his advice is to replace, not as you so stupidly suggest, test!!! i mean ,why test when you can waste money replacing bits,?you never know, you might get lucky :-)

Might clear if you remove the strobe trigger from the panel.

Could be a damaged cable, start with removal from the strobe output in the panel.

Telling someone to just replace something without testing all eventualities is a poor thing to do.
Do you just replace anything you do not understand?

Should find something in engineer section for testing strobe, turning it on/off to test, try that, if still doing it, fault in outside unit, might clear if opened up and totally powered down, ie remove all power from units, switch mains off and remove all batteries, especially the outside unit. power all up again. If that fails to cure it, outside unit would need to be replaced.
