hi i repaired a 1ltr corsa with a tiptronic gearbox and now it wont start on the key, if you leave the ignition on you can start it at the back of the starter and it will run normally but it wont select any gear either forward or reverse.|On the dash where the gear display is it shows an F which flashes on and off.It was a head gasket that i had to replace.

Not good news for you,these boxes are notorious in the trade,fluid leaks past the seals contaminating the servo mechanism.the opposite of cheap.
Deacent quality diagnostics will clear the "F" code fault but its only temporary.
I've heard of guys converting to manual as a cheaper option,sorry
