My answer please?

I paid £17 to get help "asap" from an expert yesterday about my BEKO fridge freezer that's gurgling and defrosting. Lots of food is getting ruined, I need an answer please.

is the motor running, very hot to the touch? this is a sign of a blockage or leak in the cooling system.if the compressor isn't running then suspect T/stat or evap timer failure as sub zero stated.maybe stuck on defrost.

if the motor is running constantly, then it is most likely the system has lost its charge, and I agree with ck. if the motor is running intermittently or not at all you could try replacing the evap timer/stuck in defrost mode,I read your previous posting yesterday and yours is a 07 model so it will require kit B timer.available from espares £12.00.onlyfour wires to connect.the evap timer is on the left hand side of the motor/compressor in a pvc jacket.iam interested in what advice your £17 got you.fully defrost 24 hours, replace stat/pcb/defrost timer.,or simply call an engineer in?.

gurgling means it probably lost its gas.repair cost would be the same as buying a new one.save your time and effort and put the money towards a new one.DON'T waste your time trying to mend it is my honest opinion!!
