Car done just over 100,000. Been great, no major problems. Used it yesterday - went well. Got into it today, plenty of life in battery, but engine would not turn, just a click. Tried placing in gear and bouncing back and for to free possible locked starting motor, but that didn't work.
Any ideas?

your engine emobilizer system is playing up.
have a look on the dashboard next to the clock there is a flashing red light.
when the system is active the light will pulse once every 2 seconds.
when you start the car the light should stop flashing go a constant red then go out.

if the light flashes and go's out when you turn the key
the system has is activated.

take your car to a ford dealership for them to fix...
