I have an old Hitachi 600 VHS movie camara, I have not used the camara for about 7yrs when it kept stopping when I was recording and then would not start again.

Can it be repaired or is it too old, everything else works on the camara so it could be the on/off switch
or a malfuction of some sort. (HITACHI VM-600E SERIALNo 81050313 )
