vauxhall vectra 2.5 V6 1998?

hade the code PO335 come up on it so changed the crank shaft sensor but car still will not start can any one help please

how the hell can two different sensors in two different locations both with different looms throw the same error code bull***t. impossible.

sounds like you need a replacement obc reader pas.the error code for a failed cam position sensor is 0340 the p0335 is most likely a wiring issue to the crank sensor or faulty or dirty connector.

no limp mode on a failed camshaft sensor unlike the crank sensor.that was a expensive mistake.however vectra po335 does throw the same code for either sensor,.the none starting should of given you a clue.when the crank sensor fails you can still drive the vehicle but it aborts to limp mode ,nothing more than 4000 rpm.oh and be warned the 2.5 v6 is well known for eating sensors and they don't come cheap.try and go for genuine vhx they seem to last a little longer.
