peugeot boxer 2.2 hdi cuts out?

very hard to start, engine managment light comes on when accelerating, sometimes stays on limp home mode, sometimes cuts out, will restart with easy start then E M light is out, done 12000 mls

EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve Diagnosis faulty sensor on the fuel rail.
Note: Peugeot don't sell the sensor separately so have a new rail too,

Or/and a faulty fuel pressure regulator/sensor
