I think you mean Emissions are high?
Service the engine, new oil/filter, replace air filter, replace sparkplugs, make sure the crankcase breathers are clear, take the car out for a drive at 60~70mph in a low gear so as to keep the revs near to the red line this will get the catalytic converter realy hot and burn off any carbon deposits, if this fails get a compression test done to make sure that oil is'nt being leaked into the cylinders and being burnt, replace the catalytic converter and the lambda sensors.
