My indesit is70c got rained on when we were undergoing house renovation. It caused the house electric rcd to trip when attempted to switch on. I took the heater housing off the back which had water in it. The main question is all the elements seem to be broken along the solid metal bar bit and one of the cardboard(?) strips is broken. Will this still be safe to use?

Thanks - I was afraid that might be the answer. I have tried the dryer with the existing elements owever and it appears to be working ok.
