2003 galaxy 1.9 tdi?

i have noticed a fan type blowing noise coming from underneath the vehicle and it carrys on when the engine is switched offand there is a slight smell of diesel

its ok its only your booster heater takes a bit of time to shut down after engine switches off it helps car reach normal running temp when below 5 c it runs off diesel
