Beko DV555 throws trip, works briefly then lower oven not at all?

On sunday we were using our beko DV555 to cook the lunch, Then it threw the trip , and the lower oven refused to work and the left front hotplate, Left it overnight it worked again briefly. Now the fan oven again will not work, The amber on light does not function and the fan also does not run, Is this likely to be the heating element failing? Its just over 18 months old.

was the clock set to manual?.if so it could be a faulty clock or a loose connection to it??

.....UPDATE .....Checked out continuity. all checks ok, The wife then proceeded to play with the clock/timer. The oven worked , then stopped. The mrs then advanced the timer , to which the oven works fine. what do you think about that ??

safety stat blown or faulty thermostat.could be an element issue.need to test it with a multimeter to prove if it is OK or not
