The machine keeps stopping mid-cycle... we have drained the water pipe but cannot undo the plug next to it (I am wondering if the coin trap/fluff box is full). It may not be that but any information would be helpful... 5 children and Christmas on the horizon....

a number of things can cause it to stop mid cycle, to try and determine whats causing the problem is the machine full or empty, if it sticking full of water there is a good chance you have a blockage. by removing the cap from the narrow black hose near the pump filter you should be able to drain machine, if that hose is clogged try to free it by gently pushing some wire through it to remove sludge, when empty check pump for obstruction. you may also have a worn pump which is not rotating
