Frost freefreezer?

Hi, I have 2year old Zanussi ZUF 1056 frost free freezer which is having a build up of ice forming on the very bottom shelf which after a while forces open the door, any answer's on how to rectify this.
Thanks Harry

hi,let the appliance fully defrost 24 hours plus depending on room temperature .it is possible that the drain pipe in the freezer section has frozen up due to a blockage.the defrost drain is behind the evaporation panel inside the freezer compartment .the pipe comes from the drain, through the carcase, and onto or into the evap tray ontop of the compressor.make sure this pipe is clear,as the appliance is defrosting you should see water running out of this pipe.if the ice build up returns after 2 to 3 weeks then you have a faulty evaporation circuit.the defrost timer is a common failure followed by the defrost drain sensor or a faulty evaporation heater.all these parts you can fit yourself, but hopefully the defrost should do the trick.
