Low petral warning light has come on?

i have a ford focus and the low petrol light has come on although i have plenty of petrol, iv even put more petrol in the car and it is still on, im a bit worried that the car is going to just cut out.

Hi there, this sounds likea faulty sensor to me. Nothing to worry about as long as you have enough petrol, but worth getting it looked at.
