How can I fix my Vauxhall Combo Van?

Oil pump gear wheel broke. Ordered new one but does not fit as the old one is tapered and the new one (which they assure us is the correct one) is not tapered. Any ideas?

Take it back and tell them it is the wrong one,they should replace it with the correct one or refund your cash,easy as that!
