I have car brake problems?

I replaced the front brake pads on my X reg Vauxhall Corsa 1.0. For some reason the front brakes do not seem to work properly. The brake pedal can be pushed to the floor when braking. Fluid level is OK. The pads were replaced and the calliper etc was replaced the same way as it came off. Thanks.

found the answer... apparently, if you push the piston on the calipers back in, without removing the lid on the master cylinder reservoir in the engine bay, it reverses the seals of the braking system.. go to a garage and ask them how to correct it.. its not too difficult.. just a pain in the bum
cheers

Sounds like you let some air in when you did the work. Or you fractured a brake pipe - which amounts to the same thing. Have you tried bleeding them?
