my car has just came back from the garage and now the central locking doesnt work on the fob or the key and when i put the key in the ignition the engine doesnt start but the light on the dashboard flicker for a bit, any help????

What was it in the garage for? Could they have upset the fob or the car battery?

Sounds as if the fob battery is duff or has become unsynchronised.

On some Astras, apparently if you put the key in the ignition and turn it so the dash lights come on and press the lock button on the fob its meant to re-sync the key to your central locking.

i would if it would start going to check my car battery in the morning and change the fob battey if no joy it will be a call to them
