How do I get the srs light to go out on my Rover 45 (03)?

Came on for no reason, and stayed on. Do I need to disconnect airbags before touching any wiring?

It's usually a loose electrical connection under both seats.
Iv'e never had any problems with exploding air bags but it can't hurt to disconnect the battery

turn egnition off disconect the cables under the drivers seat after 30 seconds reconect turn engion on should be ok
