How do I disable the use of certain functions like VOID, REFUND and CR and make these valid only using the X or Z key on the Uniwell LX5400 series?

on my cash register I simply pryed the key up and removed the spring from under and replaced the key. Everything looked as usual but the key no longer functioned.
